How They Work
Our period pants absorb up to 5 tampons' worth of liquid, yet they look and feel just like regular undies.
Our built-in tech works like this:
1. Top layer wicks moisture away from the surface quickly, to keep you dry
2. Our middle layers absorb your blood and lock in your flow
3. The bottom layer pushes liquid back up and keeps you leak-free
the under wear is breathable, the thickness of the "heavy days" pants is not to bad.
They run small so I would size up. The clips are only good if you have a second clip pant to swap with.
The issue i had with them was the width and stitching at the gusset, it wasn't wide enough so it would leak out the sides through where the stitching was and this would be on a medium flow, after wearing for an hour or two, so not much different to the time of wearing a normal panty liner, so i am disappointed as they where for heavy period days, which I wanted as added support at night!
The other thing I didn't like was the built in insert doesn't go all the way back, so while sleeping on my back I have leaked past the edge of the insert, if they where made a bit longer it would be fine.
lastly they take a long timd yo dry as they are so thick, indoors would take a few days and outdoors on a sunny windy day (Ireland) it could take a solid 24 plus hours.

Will never go back
I made the change over a year ago and it has changed my life. Will never go back!
I personally like the bikini and the detachable. I have had leaks in the high rise so only use to the end of my period.
However very disappointed that the detachable pants have been out of stock and there is no stock coming in. Can't even preorder! I have been told on two different occasions they will come in at some point in the future. This is a huge disappointment for me. They are extremely practical for work days or when out and about. Easy to change! I hope this situation will change as I would never envisage to go back to using tampons or towels!

Great but...not as good as the briefs.
So I bought the briefs (2 ) and one set of detachables, and then ordered another set of both just so I had spares in case of leakages and heavy days.
I have to say that the detachable ones seemed not to work as well. The pad sits lower down, and as such during the night I had some leakage. They are not as comfortable as the briefs either. Especially at night the catches were a little tight on the hips and left indents.
I'll continue to use the briefs and the detachable pants on lighter days/nights as I really believe in the sustainable/eco responsible future ...just wish they were around when I was in my teens.
