Caring for fluxies period swimwear is easy! When you've finished wearing them, simply toss them in the wash with the rest of your clothes, then leave them to air dry.

Make sure you stay clear of fabric softener and bleach, as this can affect the absorbency of the underwear!

Our super-absorbent period swimwear, like our period pants, can be worn most of the day. For those with a light to moderate flow, we'd recommend wearing them up to 8 hours at a time, or changing them once you've completed your swimming session, as you would with a standard swimming costume.

Our period swimwear can hold up to 2 to 3 tampons' worth of blood, so can be worn for several hours at a time. However, if you have a particularly heavy flow, you may wish to change them sooner, to avoid possible leaks.

Although our period swimwear is recommended for light to moderate flows, swimming period pants can still be effective for heavy flows. Some of our customers prefer to pair swimming period underwear with either a tampon or menstrual cup for heavy days, for extra protection from leaks.
